SO.. Another Tuesday.. another day of work that has gone by.. and I can't tell you how I feel.. It's amazing, now that I have found a job where I can do what I love to do.. and people like my ideas.. and CLIENTS like my ideas... and I will get to see my designs actually be created and built and happen in real like. And the weather is amazing.. 65 and breezy... and I'm cooking a lot.. and loving it. I make chocolate Biscotti over the weekend. And Bert, CB, and me have game night about once a week where we play life and monopoly and poker.

Living with Bert has been a breeze and we hare having so much fun. I really cant describe how things are right now.. Besides Christian not having a job.. things are just amazing. I'm looking forward to Halloween and to Thanksgiving so I can cook for everyone.. and then for Christmas! I can't wait to see all the light on all the houses here in LA. It is such a beautifull place.

I suppose that is just the way it goes.

My great aunt/grandmother diesd yesterday. I found out this morning. She was 103. She had the same birthday as Christian. I haven't seen here in bloddy years. I guess that is how it goes in my family. Just like my dad's parents when they died. I never got to see them either. My family is not close like that. I used to see here all the time and sice i moved to miami and she got old, i never did anymore. She didnt get to see me get married, or graduated.. or anything.. and now she is gone. just liek that.. over.. And my parents dont even call me to tell me.. my dad just sends a mass e-mail to everyone in the family. Well fine then.

My my my... I can't believe that we have been in California for 7 weeks now. Two months on the 10th. I've been at this new job of mine for OVER a month already. Time is FLYING!!!!! Have I mentioned that I LOVE my job. I am having the time of time of life. What a different world! I am actually getting to design my own things! Like rooms, and kitchen's and WHOLE HOUSES ON FLIPPIN MANHATTAN BEACH!!!! And when we meet with client, I actually get to show them MY designs. Unlike the old job where I just inputed his ideas into AutoCAD. This is actually MY work. I'm really having so much fun. And I'm spreading my wings and doing what I leanred in school! What a concept!

But there is always a flip side to everything... but in a fun sorta stupid way. Last night, my boss and I went to above mentioned beach to meet with the clients and me being [blonde]brunette, I didn't see the siigns that say that the parking lot on the beach shuts down at 8pm and out meeting lastned to 8:45 so my car got locked in the parking lot.. and I got a $35 dollar ticket (which isn't bad at all, cause I could have been towed) AND had to call the Manhattan beach police and have them come an unlock the lot for me... SOOO.. I didn't get home till 10:45 at night cause the beach is SOOOOO far away...
And that is my story.. and now.. I'm going to go make homemade pizza

Let the countdown begin..
T-minus 15 days until we are on the road. Only one week of work left. *pause* Only two more weeks and I am out of Miami for a long time. So much has happened in the past 5 years of living here. I've become me.. here. Everyone is here. Except for Bert, cause he's coming with us.

But Oh MY GOD, I just can't belive how quickly it has come around. I still do not have a job. I have an apartment! Yea! But no job. It's sad cause I don't even get a response via e-mail telling me no. So I've sent out mmmm.. maybe 30 resumes and nothing. Hopefully when I get out there, it will be easier. I may have to work at Target for a while to make money. But hey.. Target is OK too. :) Have to do what I have to do. I didn't even hear back from IKEA. GAWD!!!!!!!!!!

I've been Google earthing my new area and locating all of the essential locations such as Target, post office, gas stations, Target, grocery stores, did I mention Target... New places are fun to explore. Haiving a job would make it even mroe fun.

AND I have to look for something super close to my new apartment becasue from EVERYEONE that I have talked to, traffic is SOOOO bad.
